Who it fits
Good fit for
This bike suits adults who prioritize comfort and stability. The step-through frame helps riders with limited flexibility or those who prefer easy mounting. The fat tires and front suspension smooth out potholes and gravel paths. Commuters needing a long range will appreciate the large battery capacity. Riders who want a stable, confident ride on city streets or light trails will find this setup practical. It is ideal for leisure riding and daily transportation needs.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need high-speed performance. The top speed is limited to just over 20 mph. This is slower than many performance e-bikes. If you plan to ride on steep hills frequently, the motor may struggle compared to higher-wattage options. The single front suspension fork offers limited comfort on very rough terrain. Riders seeking advanced features like a full-color display with detailed metrics or integrated navigation should consider other models.
Verdict: The ACTBEST Cozy is a stable, comfortable e-bike for daily commuting and leisure riding. Its large battery and accessible frame make it a practical choice for most adult riders.
ACTBEST Cozy Key Specs Explained
Motor Power: 1,800 W (peak)
This peak rating indicates the motor can deliver high bursts of energy for acceleration and climbing steep hills. You will notice quicker starts from a stop and easier handling on inclines. While the average commuter bike uses a lower wattage motor, this power level helps maintain momentum in wind or on rough terrain. It supports a top speed above 20 mph, giving you more flexibility for faster group rides or covering longer distances efficiently.
Battery Capacity: 15.6 Ah (748.8 Wh)
This large battery stores significant energy, which directly translates to extended ride distances. You can expect up to 75 miles of range on pedal assist, reducing the frequency of charging stops. The high capacity supports the powerful motor without draining quickly during hard use. For riders who commute long distances or explore trails all day, this capacity ensures you have enough power for the return trip without range anxiety.
Top Speed: 20++ mph
This speed rating allows you to travel faster than a standard human-powered bicycle, making commutes more time-efficient. The double-plus notation suggests the bike may exceed the standard 20 mph Class 2 limit under certain conditions. You should check local laws, as higher speeds often require Class 3 classification. This speed is useful for keeping up with traffic on bike paths or reducing travel time on flat, paved roads.
Wheel Size: 24" Fat Tire
The 24-inch wheels paired with wide tires provide enhanced stability and traction on loose surfaces like gravel, sand, or snow. This setup absorbs road imperfections better than narrow tires, offering a smoother ride on uneven pavement. The wider contact patch improves grip during cornering and braking. If you plan to ride on mixed terrain or unpaved paths, these tires offer versatility that standard road tires cannot match.
Suspension: Front suspension fork
The front fork absorbs shocks from potholes, curbs, and rough trails, reducing fatigue in your arms and shoulders. This mechanical damping smooths out vibrations before they reach your handlebars. While it does not include rear suspension, the front fork combined with fat tires still provides a comfortable ride for most city streets and light trails. This setup is ideal for riders who prioritize comfort over aggressive off-road performance.
Design and Build Overview
According to the listing, the ACTBEST Cozy features a step-through frame in standard size. This layout allows you to mount and dismount easily without swinging your leg high. The design suits riders who value convenience and stability at stops. You can choose from Green, White, Purple, Pink, or Blue finishes. A standard size fits most adult riders, while an option with a phone bag and lock is also available for added utility.
The bike uses 24-inch fat tires paired with a front suspension fork. These wide tires, measuring 24x3.0 inches, provide a plush ride over potholes, gravel, and rough pavement. The front suspension absorbs shocks from uneven surfaces, keeping the ride smooth whether you are on city streets or light trails. This combination of fat tires and suspension makes the bike suitable for all-terrain commuting and leisure riding.
Controls include a 7-speed drivetrain and a center color display. The display shows speed, battery level, and assist level clearly. It connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone app for ride data and settings. Bright LED headlights and taillights ensure visibility during day and night. The removable 48V 15.6Ah battery is built into the frame for protection. This integrated design keeps the battery secure from the elements while allowing for easy removal for charging.

Before You Buy This E-Bike
The ACTBEST Cozy is a robust commuter with a 1,800-watt peak motor and a 748.8 Wh battery. Its 24-inch fat tires and front suspension provide stability, but you should check your local laws regarding motor power and speed limits. The listing notes Bluetooth connectivity for app integration, so ensure your smartphone is compatible with the required software. Charging takes four to six hours, so you need a dedicated outlet near where you store the bike. The removable battery simplifies this process, but verify your home’s electrical capacity. You may also want a sturdy lock, as the bike’s weight makes theft a risk. Standard sizes are available, but if you need extra gear, a version with a phone bag and lock exists. This model sits alongside other options in our 1 electric bikes guide as a high-power choice for riders who prioritize torque and range over lightweight agility. Regular maintenance of the disc brakes and chain will keep it running smoothly.
